Eli is speaking at an international coatings conference that he hosted in Israel, alongside Yael (his wife), his close partner throughout the entire journey.
Commemoration and Tribute
Eli Sarid, a chemical engineer from the Technion, was a pioneer in Israel’s metal and electronics surface treatment industry. He played a central role in shaping the field nationally and supported the establishment of numerous industrial facilities. Eli served as a vital conduit of knowledge between the international arena and Israel and was recognized globally as an expert in his field.
In 1968, he founded Amza, positioning it as a leading manufacturer and supplier of chemical solutions for the coating and electronics industries. He later developed Elad Technologies into a major provider of automated coating lines and customized solutions for wastewater treatment and environmental quality.
Eli was a man of vision and action who devoted his life to advancing Israeli industry and promoting locally developed technologies. At the same time, he was a warm and loving family man. Today, his children, Tali and Gadi, continue his legacy by leading the Amza-Elad Group, which has served the Israeli industry for over 55 years, powered by a dedicated, skilled, and close-knit team of around 100 employees.
